Electives and Extracurriculars

Electives at Cygnet are about exploring and expanding interests, hands-on experiences, and spending quality time with others who share our interests.

Children choose from a variety of class offerings including musical and performing arts, fine arts, culinary arts, strategy and role-playing games, foreign languages, media production, engineering challenges, coding, and more!

Class options change quarterly, and there are  two 90 minute elective class blocks each Friday. Students select from 3 or more age-appropriate options for each time block.

After school clubs available include Beekeeping Club, Gardening Club, and Swans in Service Club.

Each quarter, we strive to have one or more event or field-trip experience relating to the current course offerings or tied into school-wide programs.

NON DISCRIMINATION POLICY

The Cygnet admits students of any race, color, gender, and national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, or national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs. ©2022 by The Cygnet School.
